Binatone Skate Soccer Challenge Cup this week

International Federation of Skate Soccer (IFSS) an NGO committed to the development of the physically challenged members of our society (particularly polio victims) in collaboration with Binatone is organizing a local friendly tournament among four local teams namely; Western Tigers, Zongo Lions, Accra Giants and Ashanti Warriors. IFSS together with Binatone have organized three International matches of which two were held here in Ghana and the third in Nigeria. The first was between Ghana and Nigeria which Ghana won by a close shave 3-2. Ghana verses Togo was the second which Ghana lifted the trophy. The third was a return match between Nigeria and Ghana. This match really showed the other side of the Nigerian Team as they beat Ghana 8-1 to win. On the local front, one match has been organized between the Accra Giants and Ashanti Warriors. QNET to have agents in Ghana

According to the management of the QNET, they opted to operate in Ghana because the country’s economy has the potential of growing to a well developed country. Mr. David Sharma, the Advisor to QNET told the Daily Express in an interview that their presence in Ghana is to equip Ghanaians especially the youth to be part of their operations. “We will engage the youth as our agents and as a result of that they will earn something for themselves,” he added. He explained further that e-commerce has a huge potential of the youth which falls within the ages of 19 and 35 years. He indicated that bringing on board the youth is one of the best ways of making e-commerce sustainable. “It is our plan that by end of the first quarter, we should have engaged some agents to start selling our products,” he noted.
